Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant is one of the most scenic destinations in the Lowcountry with up-close view of shrimp boats operating along the creek. It is surrounded by tidal marshes and has a 2000 feet boardwalk from Coleman Boulevard to near the mouth of the creek at Charleston Harbor.
